Following God Into the Trenches examines the small urban church as it struggles for legitimacy and yet remains resilient in an urban environment with limited financial and physical resources. Proving that the lack of these resources has revealed the toughness of the small church. At the end of the project we will have journeyed through a church plant of a small urban church from its house inception, through its storefront rise and decline, as they are renewed and guided to a new community to join God in mission. We will walk with them as they discover their identity in Christ, while experiencing the joys and heartaches of being sent agents of Jesus Christ into an urban community.
